Privacy Policy
Vouch processes only the information needed to operate a private trusted circle, deliver verification requests, and protect account access. Vouch does not sell personal information or track people across unrelated apps and websites.
1. Who operates Vouch
Vouch is operated by Aleksandr Ponomarev in Vietnam. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to ponomarev@email.cz.
2. Information we process
- Account information: the identifier supplied through Sign in with Apple, and—if you choose to provide them—your name and Apple private relay or regular email address.
- Trusted-circle content: circle membership, member roles, invitation status, verification requests, request notes and optional amounts, approvals, blocks, scam alerts, and drill-related activity.
- Device and service information: APNs device token, app version, last-seen time, and security/session information required to maintain authentication.
- Support communications: information you voluntarily include when contacting support.
Vouch does not request contacts, precise location, photos, microphone, camera, banking credentials, or payment-card information.
3. How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, create and synchronize trusted circles, route verification and security alerts, enforce one- or two-person approval rules, prevent abuse, troubleshoot the service, answer support requests, and comply with legal obligations. Where applicable, processing is based on providing the service you request, your consent for notifications, legitimate security interests, and legal requirements.
4. Service providers
- Apple: Sign in with Apple and Apple Push Notification service.
- Supabase: authentication, database hosting, server functions, and related infrastructure.
- GitHub Pages: hosting this public policy and support website; GitHub may process standard web-request information under its own privacy statement.
We do not permit these providers to use Vouch data for behavioral advertising on our behalf.
5. Storage, security, and international transfers
Vouch uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Authentication sessions are stored in the iOS Keychain. Server administrator credentials and Apple private keys are kept in server-side secret storage and are not included in the app. Providers may process information outside your country; where required, we rely on appropriate contractual and legal safeguards.
No system is completely secure. For high-risk financial, medical, or physical-security situations, use additional independent verification and established emergency procedures.
6. Retention
Account and circle information is retained while needed to provide Vouch and while the relevant account or circle remains active. Data is removed when an account or owner-controlled circle is deleted, except for limited records that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backups, or legal compliance. Support correspondence may be retained while needed to resolve and document the request.
7. Your choices and rights
You may disable notifications in iOS Settings. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of applicable personal information by emailing us. You may also delete your account directly inside Vouch under Settings → Delete account and data. See the account deletion page for details.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights and the right to complain to a competent data-protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.
8. Children
Vouch is not directed to children under 16 and is not intended for a child to use without involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Contact us if you believe a child provided information improperly.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated, and material changes may also be communicated in the app.
